Whales are those players who spend lots of money just to get their most desired characters for gaming apps. And now, mobile app data analysis organization Sensor Tower has released the top-grossing apps in Japan in the first quarter of 2019. Unsurprisingly, the app infamous for having a lot of Whales has taken the rankings’ top spot. Yes folks, it’s Fate/Grand Order.
The rankings ranked the apps based on their sales for the first three months of 2019. According to Sensor Tower, FGO took around US$190 million during that time alone. This is for both Google Play and Apple’s iStore. FGO took the top spot for Google Play, while Monster Strike took iStore’s rankings. Finally, FGO is the overall #1 for the entire ranking.
