After stating that if Dropkick on My Devil!‘s home video sales would reach 2,000, it would get a second season, the staff are making good on their promise! The anime is now getting a second season, and its twitter page confirmed that it will be released sometime in 2020. It also revealed a brand new exhibition event that will kick off later this month.
The event is called “Jashin-chan Exhibition Mini”, and it will be stopping by Shibuya Marui in Tokyo from 15th-30th June. It will then head to Nanba Marui from 5th-15th July, before finally heading to Fukuoka’s Hakata Marui from 19th July until 5th August. Here’s how Amazon Prime, which also streams the anime, describes its story:
Jashin-chan, a devil from Hell was abruptly summoned to the human world by Yurine Hanazono, a stoic college student who lives in a run-down apartment in Jinbocho. They’re forced to become roommates since Yurine doesn’t know how to send Jashin-chan back. But according to Jashin-chan, she could return by killing Yurine, so she takes action…?! A viperous roomie comedy that keeps you on your toes!
