Macross Delta will be having a brand new original-story anime film. And during the Macross Crossover Live 2019 concert, they revealed new details for the upcoming movie. First, they revealed that its title is Gekijouban Macross Delta: Zettai LIVE!!!!!!. They also revealed a teaser visual featuring the five members of Walkūre.

The film’s title has SIX exclamation points, and they sort of teased the reason why. Duting the announcement, the Walkūre members asked Macross creator Shoji Kawamori for why there are six exclamation points when there are only FIVE Walkūre members. To this, Kawamori says that there may be a sixth performer for the film. So far, this hasn’t been confirmed yet, as Kawamori might only be joking, as he said it in a playful manner.

The film will have a completely new story, and will also introduce a new threat. The film is listed to premiere in 20XX, though during the “Flying Dog 10th Anniversary Live ‘Inu Fes'” event, Shoji Kawamori himself stated that it will premiere sometime in 2020.
