Carole and Tue are finally coming to Netflix! During the Fuji TV panel presentation at Anime Expo 2019 in Los Angeles, they revealed that Carole & Tuesday will be premiering in the global streaming site on 30 August 2019. This will be a worldwide premiere, though this will only feature the anime’s first half.
The musical show itself is already streaming in Japan, though the international release will have official English subtitles.
As for the second half, Netflix is yet to reveal its global streaming premiere. However, as we reported earlier, it will have new OP and ED songs from episode 13 onward.
“Polly Jean” is a song written by Keigo Oyamada AKA Cornelius, a musician who has done numerous remixes and collaborations with artists both at home and abroad. It’s a high-quality pop number that combines a heady sound with Nai Br.XX & Celeina Ann’s soothing tones.
“Not Afraid” is a song written by Lido, a trackmaker and multi-instrumentalist who has produced and remixed some of the most innovative music of the last decade. It’s an electro song that conveys a powerful sense of scale.
