Looks like Doraemon, Nobita, and the rest of the gang are going to meet some dinosaurs in the next film. This is because the next film in the franchise will be titled Doraemon: Nobita no Shin Kyoryū (Doraemon the Movie: Nobita’s New Dinosaur). It will serve as the 40th film for Doraemon, and they even released a new trailer and key visual:

Doraemon TV anime episode director Kazuaki Imai will be directing the film. It will follow Nobita and friends meeting two baby dinosaurs named Kyu and Myu. This will have a completely new story, different from the first film, Nobita’s dinosaur.

The staff also announced the film’s March 2020 release window as well. Expect them to reveal more details about the film soon.
