The team behind AnoHana got back together for a new project titled Her Blue Sky (Sora no Aosa o Shiru Hito yo). And now, the anime film’s official website has released a brand new trailer! It teases the film’s theme song “Sora no Aosa o Shiru Hito yo” by Aimyon.
The website also released a new key visual for the film.
As the trailer and visual both revealed, the film will open in Japan on 11th October.
The main cast will include:
- Shion Wakayama as Aoi Aioi
- Riho Yoshioka as Akane Aioi
- Ryou Yoshizawa as Shinnosuke Kanomura/Shinno
- Ken Matsudaira as Dankichi Nitobe
- You Taichi as Masatsugu Nakamura
- Fukushi Ochiai as Masamichi Nakamura
- Atsumi Tanezaki as Chika Ootaki
The story is set in a town in the mountains, the anime will follow high school student Aoi Aioi, an aspiring musician, and her older sister, Akane. Akane gave up her dream of moving to Tokyo with former boyfriend Shinnosuke to take care of her sister after both their parents passed away.
As Aoi tries to break into the music industry, she’s invited to perform at a music festival by a famous enka singer named Dankichi. However, things get complicated when Shinnosuke returns, and a mysterious guy named Shinno also appears.
Tatsuyuki Nagai( Director ), Mari Okada(Writer and Director), and Masayoshi Tanaka( Artist), who formed the group Super Peace Busters, reunite for this new film.
They worked on AnoHana together, as well as The Anthem of the Heart. Genki Kawamura (your name., Mirai) is producing the film, with CloverWorks animating the project.
