Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution is a remake of Pokemon the First Movie. And it has a very big musical name attached to it, as Rita Ora sings the theme song for both Japanese and international versions. Ora played Dr. Ann Laurent in Detective Pikachu, and is also performing the song “Let You Love Me” in the film. Now, the Pokemon Company has released a new trailer, and it teases that very theme song from her.

Kouichi Yamadera will be reprising his role as Mew for the film, while Sachiko Kobayashi is also coming back from the 1998 original as Voyager. Meanwhile, Masachika Ichimura is reprising his role as Mewtwo, while the rest of the cast also reprise their roles. As for the film itself, the staff have revealed a brand new key visual, which teases the big battle between Mewtwo and Mew. They also announced the film’s 12th July release date as well.

Kunihiko Yuyama and Motonori Sakakibara will be co-directing the film over at Oriental Light and Magic (OLM) Digital, which will be producing its 3D animation.

So, what do you guys think of the new 3D looks for Ash and the gang?
