The story of the anime adaptation of Sword Art Online: Alicization ended abruptly with a huge cliffhanger. But don’t worry because the anime will be continuing onto its second part. Officially titled Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of Underworld, the staff have revealed a new PV for the anime. They also unveiled a brand new key visual as well.

The PV announced that the anime will in fact premiere sometime in October 2019. It will be continuing where it previously left off, as Kirito and Alice explore the dark secrets of Underworld.

Manabu Ono is returning from the first part to once again direct the anime over at A-1 Pictures. Meanwhile, Gou Suzuki, Shingo Adachi, and Tomoya Nishiguchi are all credited for character designs. Expect the staff to reveal more details soon enough.
