Gundam: Reconguista in G, or G-Reco for short, is getting its own 5-part compilation film. And now, the staff have revealed a brand new key visual for the first film, which is titled Gundam: Reconguista in G I: Go! Core Fighter.

They also announced that it premieres in Japan on 29th November on 22 theatres. It will have a 2-week run on those theatres.

The staff also announced a special advance screening during the Pia Film Festival at the National Film Archive of Japan in Tokyo. The festival will run from 7-21 September 2019. The film already made its world premiere last 6th July in France, during the Japan Expo 2019 event.

Director, infamous character killer and Gundam franchise creator Yoshiyuki Tomino has stated that he was very particular about the remake. He previously admitted that the TV anime wasn’t really good, so the legendary director might have inserted a few tweaks to the story and maybe made it easier to understand.
