The official BanG Dream! YouTube channel has now released a brand new trailer for the franchise’s new and upcoming concert movie, BanG Dream! FILM LIVE. This new video previews the band, Roselia, and also previews the insert song titled “FIRE BIRD.”

The concert film will feature several of the franchise’s all-female bands in a concert. It will open on 13th September, with Sanzigen once again animating the project, much like what they did for the TV anime. 56 theatres across Japan will be screening the concert film.

And speaking of the TV anime, Season 3 will premiere on January 2020. Here’s how Sentai Film Works, which distributes the anime out west, describes its story:

When she was a child, Kasumi Toyama (played by Poppin’ Party’s lead singer, Aimi) felt a heart-pounding thrill every time she gazed at the stars, and she’s been looking without success for something that could inspire the same feeling ever since. One day, she comes across a star-shaped guitar in a rundown pawnshop and, for the first time, discovers the thrill she’s been searching for. Kasumi becomes determined to form an all-girl band, and her search leads her to four like-minded souls: Saya, Arisa, Rimi, and Tae (all brought to life by the members of Poppin’ Party). Does this band have what it takes to make their dreams of stardom come true?
