After over half a decade of waiting, the Rebuild of Evangelion films finally moves forward with its fourth and final film, Evangelion: 3.0+1.0.

Now, King Records has released a new trailer titled “2.5”. It teases the new version of Unit-08, labelled Unit-08γ.

The staff originally announced it back in 2012, but delays plague its production almost lasting a decade. Studio Khara is producing the animation, with the Hideaki Anno directing the film and writing the script, of course.

It will open in Japanese theatres in June 2020. Studio Khara is expected to reveal more details.
