Final Fantasy VIII is getting a remastered version for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam. And now, Square Enix is previewing some of the improvements for this updated version.

As the video announces, the Remastered version will be released on 3 September 2019. And as previously announced, it will boast new character models, enhanced graphics, and a battle assist mode. Players can also turn off random encounters for the game as well!

Final Fantasy VIII was originally released in 1999 for the original PlayStation console, before getting released for Windows PC in 2000. It had a lot to live up to, coming right after the mega phenomenon known as Final Fantasy VII, and to many, it lived up to its predecessor.
