During the “Gintama Shirogane Matsuri 2019 (Kari)” event last March, the staff teased of a new Gintama project in the works, and this is it. As it turns out, the project is an anime movie, though they did not reveal any further details yet.

Gintama: The Movie: The Final Chapter: Be Forever Yorozuya was supposed to be the final anime movie in the franchise. But this being Gintama, it turns out that the movie itself was just trolling fans… as usual. And speaking of trolling, the manga itself has finally ended last 20th June after much trolling on when it will actually end.
