The live-action adaptation of Aka Akasaka‘s popular Kaguya-sama: Love is War manga recently released a brand new key visual. And now, mangaka Aka Akasaka revealed a very personal take on the manga itself. The series creator recently released artwork of the new key visual in the manga’s style:

Aka Akasaka’s Kaguya-sama: Love is War manga follows the student council of a prestigious academy. Its top student is Miyuki Shirogane, who is also the school’s student council president. He is in love with his Vice President, Kaguya Shinomiya, the school’s #2-ranked student and heiress to the Shinomiya business empire. Actually, both of them like each other, but can never confess because of sheer pride. To them, whoever confesses loses, so they do a series of “battles” to get the other to confess their love for one another.
