Netflix‘s NX Twitter page has announced several new and returning films and series coming to Netflix, and one of them would make anime fans really happy. That movie is none other than Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress: The Battle of Unato.

The film is a direct sequel to the TV anime, and it focuses on Mumei. It will premiere on Netflix on 13 September 2019.

Meanwhile, Netflix also revealed a brand new cast member for the upcoming live-action Cowboy Bebop series. The revealed that Elena Satine will be playing Julia, who they describe as “a haunted woman running from a tragic past“.

Thor scriptwriter Chris Yost writing the scripts. As for how it will adhere to the original, the Netflix series will have creator and director Shinichiro Watanabe as creative consultant. Alex Garcia Lopez (Netflix’s Daredevil and Punisher series) will be directing the first two episodes. Here’s how Netflix describes the new series:
