Puella Magi Madoka Magica is getting a new anime! But this time, they’re adapting the Magia Record TV smartphone game. And now, they have released the anime’s very first PV:
The PV announces that the anime will premiere in Janiary 2020 via MBS, Tokyo MX, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, BS11, and other channels. They also revealed that TrySail will perform the OP theme song, “Gomakashi” (Deception), while ClariS will perfor the anime’s yet-to-be-titled ED song. Here is the key visual:
The video also announced the cast, and it includes:
- Momo Asakura as Iroha Tamaki
- Sora Amamiya as Yachiyo Nanami
- Shiina Natsukawa as Tsuruno Yui
- Ayane Sakura as Felicia Mitsuki
- Yui Ogura as Sana Futaba
- Mikako Komatsu as Momoko Togame
- Ayaka Ohashi as Kaede Akino
- Kaori Ishihara as Rena Minami
- Kana Hanazawa as Kuroe
Gekidan Inu Curry will be the anime’s chief director. while Madoka Magica TV anime director Yukihiro Miyamoto will now serve as assistant director. Meanwhile. Junichirou Taniguchi is also returning as character designer. Expect the staff to reveal more details soon.
