Cancer will always be a serious issue, so when seiyuu Saki Ogasawara announced that she had cancer, fans were deeply shocked. The My Hero Academia and Girls und Panzer seiyuu had to go on hiatus for treatment, but she remained determined to get back to work as she fights her ailment. And now, the seiyuu has announced that the hiatus is over, and she has gone back to work!

She made the announcement on her Twitter page, where she also thanked fans for all their support.

Ogasawara has stayed positive with her outlook on her illness and is very thankful for her cancer is discovered early. Doctors diagnosed her with stage 1 cancer prior to her treatment.

Fans might know her as Itsuka Kendou from My Hero Academia, as well as Azusa Nakajou from The Irregular at Magic High School. She also voices Akane Nonohara in the The iDOLM@STER Million Live smartphone game, and even performed during THE IDOLM@STER MILLION LIVE! 6thLIVE TOUR UNI-ON@IR!!!! Angel STATION 2 live concert event last April, shortly after her diagnosis. We wish her well on her treatment. Get well soon Ogasawara-san!
