After returning from a 1-week break, Haruichi Furudate’s Haikyu!! manga entered its final arc has now entered its final arc within the pages of issue #48 of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The manga took a break so that Furudate could do some research.

Previously, Shonen Jump teased that the manga is entering a new arc, and it is “moving to the other side of the Earth”. And now, they just announced that that arc will indeed be serving as Haikyuu!!’s final arc.

The manga follows the Karasuno High boys’ volleyball team as they compete against Japan’s other top high school teams. Furudate first launched the manga in 2011 within the pages of the legendary Shonen Jump magazine. It then inspired several TV anime seasons, as well as several OVAs. A fourth season will premiere in January 2020.
