The Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These is having a “second season”. However, this second season ain’t a TV anime, but a film trilogy! The first film has already opened in Japan last 27th September, and now, the staff have revealed a brand new trailer for the entire trilogy:

While the first film is now showing in Japan, the trailer also previewed the other two films as well. The second part will open on 25th October, while the third and final film will open on 29th November.

“Seiran” will continue where the first season left off. It will be adapting Yoshiki Tanaka’s bestselling science fiction novel series. They will divide the anime into three chapters, each one will have four episodes. These four episodes then make up each film in the trilogy.
