Been a Gundam fan before it was cool? Built GunPla when painting them was still required? Well, hipsters better rejoice, because King Amusement Creative is releasing the original 1979 anime’s soundtrack in vinyl!

They’re releasing these records in six albums, each one containing new cover artwork from original character designer Yoshikazu Yasuhiko.

The first soundtrack contains around 20 tracks, including the anime’s OP and ED songs, as well as bonus tracks, while the others contain various songs and background music. And yes, those who own these records can safely say that “you haven’t listened to the original Gundam soundtrack until you’ve listened to it in vinyl”.

The King Amusement Creative website has opened pre-orders for these records online. Their prices range from 4,000-4,500 yen.
