The live-action Hell Girl movie finally releases today, 15th November. And as the film finally hits theatres in Japan, the staff revealed a new video. However, this one doesn’t just feature the live-action version of Ai Enma, but the anime version as well. In fact, Mamiko Noto reprised her role as the titular Hell Girl for the video:

The video ended with the Mamiko Noto version and the Tina Tamashiro version both saying Ai’s signature catchphrase, “Ippen Shindemiru?” (How would you like to see what death is like?).

Tina Tamashiro plays Ai Enma in the movie, while Manami Hashimoto plays Hone Onna and Raiku plays Ren Ichimoku. Rounding out Ai’s minions is Akaji Maro, who plays Wanyuudou.

The film will premiere in 15 November 2019. It is based on the 2005 Studio DEEN horror TV anime, Hell Girl. It follows Ai Enma, a vengeful spirit who grants the tormented reprieve by sending their tormentors to hell directly through the Hell Correspondence website… but at a price. Those who sent their tormentors to hell will also go to hell themselves, but only after they die.
