Obituaries have announced that veteran seiyuu and actor Tadashi Nakamura has now passed away due to blood poisoning from gall bladder inflammation. He was 89.

Close relatives and friends held a funeral service for the late saiyuu/actor already.

Nakamura is a well known narrator for various anime series, including Ranma 1/2. He also voiced Tetsuharu Kawakami in Kyojin no Hoshi, as well as voiced characters in various Mamoru Hosoda films, including Mirai and The Boy and The Beast. As a narrator, he also voiced the narration for various Japanese dubs for Hollywood films and TV shows, including Bewitched and the original Charlie’s Angels TV series.
