Looks like we’re about to say farewell to Alice, Karen, and Shinobu. This is because the January 2020 issue of Manga Time Kirara Max has announced that Yui Hara’s Kin-iro Mosaic manga only has four chapters left.

The series may end in the magazine’s April 2020 issue (due out in March 2020) if there are no delays. This would then mark the end of one of the most beloved moe franchises out there.

Hara launched the manga in 2010 before getting a TV anime in 2013. The anime itself would then get a second season in 2015 titled Hello!! KINMOZA. The series follows Shinobu, a very stereotypical Japanese girl who is fond of the United Kingdom. One day, her family volunteered for a homestay program. And because of that, she once again meets Alice, a petite Brit who absolutely loves Japanese culture.
