The TV anime adaptation of Boichi and Riichirou Inagaki’s Dr. Stone manga will be continuing on to a second season. And during a stage event during Jump Festa ’20’s second day, the staff of the TV anime revealed a brand new PV, as well as a new key visual:

The staff also revealed that the second season’s official title is Dr. Stone: Stone Wars. And from that title, it’s pretty clear that the new season will be adapting the manga’s Stone Wars arc. This means that Senkuu and the villagers on the Science Side will finally be in a full-blown conflict with Tsukasa!

Synopsis (via Viz):

One fateful day, all of humanity was petrified by a blinding flash of light. After several millennia, high schooler Taiju awakens and finds himself lost in a world of statues. However, he’s not alone! His science-loving friend Senku’s been up and running for a few months and he’s got a grand plan in mind—to kickstart civilization with the power of science!
