The Saint Seiya 3DCG remake titled Knights of the Zodiac: Saint Seiya will indeed continue with its second part. And now, the staff have revealed that Netflix will be streaming the anime’s second part globally. It will premiere on the streaming service on 23rd January, with all six second part episodes debuting simultaneously.

Aside from the premiere date, the staff also revealed four brand new stills from the anime’s second part:

Netflix and Toei Animation’s new Saint Seiya anime will have 12 episodes. This includes the first part, which is currently streaming via Netflix, as well as the upcoming second part. The entire series itself will cover the manga’s Galaxian Wars to Silver Saints arcs.

The cast for the anime includes:

  • Masakazu Morita as Pegasus Seiya
  • Takahiro Sakurai as Dragon Shiryuu
  • Hiroaki Miura as Cygnus Hyouga
  • Satomi Satou as Andromeda Shun
  • Katsuyuki Konishi as Pheonix Ikki
  • Fumiko Orikasa as Saori Kido

Knights of the Zodiac: Saint Seiya follows modern day adventures of young warriors called “Knights”, who are sworn protectors of the reincarnated Greek goddess Athena. Each Knights wears a powerful armor based on their chosen zodiac constellation, and are called Knights of the Zodiac. They aid Athena in her battle against powerful Olympian gods who are bent on destroying the humankind.
