Brace yourselves everyone, because we’re getting a new Love Live! TV anime! The Love Live! Staff Twitter Page revealed that their Nijigasaki Academy School Idol Appreciation Club is getting their own animated TV series, and even released a new visual:

The franchise first introduced the Nijigasaki Academy School Idol Appreciation Club back in 2017 for KLab Games and Bushiroad’s Love Live! School Idol Festival smartphone game.

They introduced the group as part of their “Perfect Dream Project” (PDP), and their cast includes (from left to right in the image below):

Emma Verde (CV: Maria Sashide), Kanata Konoe (CV: Akari Kito), Karin Asaka (CV: Miyu Kubota), Kasumi Nakasu (CV: Mayu Sagara), Ayumu Uehara (CV: Aguri Onishi), Shizuku Osaka (CV: Kaori Maeda), Ai Miyashita (CV: Natsumi Murakami), Setsuna Yuki (CV: Tomori Kusunoki), and Rina Tennoji (CV: Chiemi Tanaka)

The anime staff have not confirmed if their seiyuu from the games will be reprising their roles for the new series. However, it is very very very likely that they will, as the School Idol Appreciation Club’s seiyuu have already done several concerts together.

As for the anime itself, the staff did not reveal any further details yet, such as who the staff members are, the anime’s story, and its release date.
