A-1 P{ictures is adapting Io Sakisaka’s Love Me, Love Me Not (Omoi, Omoware, Furi, Furare) shoujo manga into a feature-length anime film. And now, the staff have released a teaser trailer which announces its 29th May 2020 release date:

In addition, the staff also revealed the film’s new poster visual, as well as its staff and cast.

The film will star (clockwise from the upper left in the image above) Marika Suzuki as Yuna Ichihara. Megumi Han as Akari Yamamoto, Souma Saitou as Kazuoumi Inui, and Nobunaga Shimazaki as Rio Yamamoto.

Toshimasa Kuroyanagi, who is certainly no stranger to shoujo anime, will be directing the film. He previously directed the shoujo anime, Say I Love You. Bunny Drop’s Yuu Yamashita is designing the characters, while Trickster’s Erika Yoshida is penning the script.

Here’s how Viz describes the manga’s story in English:

Fast friends Yuna and Akari are complete opposites—Yuna is an idealist, while Akari is a realist. When lady-killer Rio and the oblivious Kazuomi join their ranks, love and friendship become quite complicated!
