My Hero Academia the Movie -Heroes: Rising- will finally be premiering in Japan this week. And to whet fans’ appetites, the staff released not one, but two new PVs! The first one focuses on the heroes of Class 1-A, while the second one focuses on the new villain, Nine.

They also revealed the new cast members joining the movie, which include:

  • Tomoyo Kurosawa as Mahoro
  • Yuka Terasaki as Katsuma
  • Yoshio Inoue as Nine
  • Mio Imada as Slice
  • Kousuke Toriumi as Mummy
  • Shunsuke Takeuchi as Chimera
  • Yuuichi Nakamura as Hawks

The film itself will premiere on 20th December, with much of the TV anime’s cast returning to the film. While the film has an original story, Horikoshi himself is supervising it. In fact, he’s also serving as the film’s character designer.

Other staff members include director Kenji Nagasaki and scriptwriter Yousuke Kuroda. BONES will be animating the new film, much like the TV anime.
