Shinkalion made it official that Hatsune Miku is now an anime character. Yes folks, you can’t say that “Miku is not an anime character” anymore because of the series. And after appearing as a guest character in the TV anime, Miku is returning to the franchise once again! This time, she is appearing in the Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion: Mirai Kara Shinsoku no ALFA-X film for a concert scene! They even released a few stills of her scene from the movie:

So yeah, the Shinkalion movie won’t just feature Evangelion, but Miku as well! That’s the power of trains for you…

Miku will sing “Change! Shinkalion” for the film, The song serves as the original OP song for the Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion web animated series back in 2015. Renowned music producer Mitchie M will be arranging her voice for the song, with Rella designing her dress.

Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion: Mirai Kara Shinsoku no ALFA-X will open in Japan on 27th December 2019.
