The staff of the upcoming second season of the shounen thriller anime, The Promised Neverland, has just revealed its release window. According to the anime’s official website, The Promised Neverland Season 2 will drop in October 2020. They also released this new key visual featuring the kids.

The first season ended with a huge cliffhanger, though confirmed that season 2 is indeed coming. And just in case you missed it, here’s the announcement video:

The manga has entered its final arc, and has even reached its climax back in August. The series promises to have a big year in 2020, and it’s not just because the manga is ending, but also because of the anime’s second season. But wait, there’s more, because there’s also a live-action film premiering in December 2020.

Crunchyroll, which releases the anime online, describes the story as:

The one adored as the mother is not the real parent. The people living here together are not actual siblings. The Gracefield House is where orphaned children live.
