Ladies and gentlemen, Goblin Slayer is back, and he’s starring in his very own movie! Its title is Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown, and it serves as a sequel to the popular TV anime. And now, GA Bunko’s official YouTube channel has finally released the film’s full trailer:

The new video also announces the film’s 1st February 2020 release date in Japan. As for the cast, much of the seiyuu who voiced the characters will be returning. They will include:

  • Goblin Slayer: Yuichiro Umehara
  • Priestess: Yui Ogura
  • High Elf Archer: Nao Toyama
  • Cow Girl: Yuka Iguchi
  • Guild Girl: Maaya Uchida
  • Dwarf Shaman: Yuichi Nakamura
  • Lizard Priest: Tomokazu Sugita
  • Witch: Yoko Hikasa
  • Spearman: Yoshitsugu Matsuoka

The video also announced that Sumire Uesaka is joining the cast as the Noble Fencer.

The film adapts the 5th light novel volume from Kumo Kagyu‘s popular series. That volume also contains a chapter titled “Goblin’s Crown“. The film itself fulfills a promise at the end of the TV anime’s run that states that “Goblin Slayer will Return“.
