Bandai Spirits has revealed two new Chogokin figures. And yes, they feature Hello Kitty! As usual, this one is part of the two franchises’ respective anniversary celebrations. The first one comes in the colors of the RX-78-2 Gundam. It even features Hello Kitty as Amuro Ray.

Meanwhile, the second chogokin comes in the colours of Char’s Zaku II. And yes, it also comes with Hello Kitty as Char Aznable as well.

Both figures cost around 7,480 yen. Bandai Spirits will be releasing them in July 2020.

However, that’s not the only thing Hello Kitty is transforming into. This is because the iconic Japanese mascot is also turning into a train robot from Shinkalion!

The new Shinkalion is based off of the actual Hello Kitty Shinkansen that runs from Shin-Osaka Station to Hakata Station in Fukuoka. It will appear in an anime commercial during the Shinkalion anime, and will get its own video via Takara Tomy’s own YouTube channel.

In addition, Takara Tomy is also releasing a figure of the transforming train robot.

So with those Gundam and Shunkalion collaborations, it’s safe to say that Hello Kitty is pretty much a part of the mecha genre now…
