Want a manga recommendation? Well, there’s one Japanese manga superfan out there that’s willing to give out her recommendations, and she’s actress Kanna Hashimoto. During her “Hashimoto Kanna no All Night Nippon” radio show, the live-action Gintama actress revealed that she is currently following 30 manga titles, as well as recommended some of her favourites.

To start things off, she recommended her own personal favourite. Maybe you guys haven’t heard of it? It’s called One Piece by Eiichiro Oda. She says that people who love manga always end up returning to One Piece.

The actress, who also played Kaguya in the live-action Kaguya-sama: Love is War, as well as Ritsu in the live-action Assassination Classroom film, also recommended other titles as well. These include Katsuhisa Minami’s The Fable, Satoru Noda’s Golden Kamuy, Asakura George’s Dance Dance Danseur, and Yumi Tamura’s Do not say mystery. In fact, she says that Do Not Say Mystery is addictive and compelling. She even called its mangaka a genius, and told her listeners to read the manga as soon as her radio show’s episode ended.

Now that’s one passionate fan indeed! And to think this is the woman many have dubbed the “Once-in-a-millennium-idol”.
