Prepare for more booze and guys running around buck-naked, as the staff of the live-action film adaptation of Kenji Inoue and Kimitaka Yoshioka’s Grand Blue Dreaming comedy manga has finally released more details! This includes a brand new trailer, as well as a new key visual:

Ryou Ryuusei of Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger fame will play Iori Kitagara in the film. Meanwhile, Atsuhiro Inukai from Kamen Rider Build will be playing anime fanboy Kouhei Imamura. And yes, as the video reveals, they will pretty much be running around naked in the film, much like the anime and manga.

In a statement, Ryuusei said that he got naked a lot more than he previously expected. He also admitted that he met some actors he respected going nude for the film as well. Meanwhile, Inukai stated that he and his co-stars enjoyed filming. They made lots of memories together… while naked.

The trailer and visual also revealed the film’s 29th May release date. Meanwhile, Kakegurui’s Tsutomu Hanabusa is directing the film.

Grand Blue is based on Kenji Inoue and Kimitake Yoshioka’s college comedy manga titled Grand Blue Dreaming. Here’s how Kodansha describes the manga’s story:

Idiot-expert Kenji Inoue and au naturel authority Kimitake Yoshioka bring you a glorious college tale filled with booze-fueled antics!
