Winter 2020 introduces us to a new moe anime titled Asteroid in Love. It follows the Earth Sciences club, which is a new club that combined the previous Geology and Astronomy clubs. And now, it’s getting a new educational animated short series titled KiraKira Zoukangou. In fact, Episode 1 is now available via YouTube.

The anime follows a girl named Mira, who has an interest in Astronomy. For this first educational episode, they talk about the actual star named Mira, which is part of the whale constellation, Cetus.

Daisuke Hiramaki is directing the anime at Doga Kobo, with Jun Yamazaki’s character designs. Here’s how Crunchyroll describes the anime’s story:

When she was little, Konohata Mira promises a boy she meets at a camp site that they can go find a galaxy together. When she enters high school, she joins the astrology club. But that year, the astrology club happened to combine with the geology club, making it the astrogeo club?!

Won’t you go find all kinds of sparkles with the astrogeo girls?
