Saint You Men is back for yet another divine live-action season. This would be the series’ third season, and they revealed a brand new trailer. It teases Jesus and Buddha singing karaoke, as well as Jesus turning water into tea.

NHK will only air the new series on 11th January and 18th January, with each day airing five episodes. In addition, the delayed second half of the show’s second season will air on 25th January. They delayed the second half’s broadcast due to Typhoon Hagibis.

Ken’ichi Matsuyama is once again playing Jesus, while Shouta Sometani is also returning as Buddha. Gintama director Yuuichi Fukuda is also coming back as series director and scriptwriter.

The live-action series adapts Hikaru Nakamura’s Saint Young Men (Saint Oniisan) manga. It follows the daily lives of Jesus and Buddha as they live in modern-day Tokyo.
