In the new Shirobako Movie, Musashino Animation is working on a new anime project. However, the staff of the anime film has just released a new trailer, and it seems that the anime project that they’re working on is now cancelled…

In the trailer, Murakawa announces that Musashino Animation’s original project Time Hippopotamus has been cancelled. However, they have a back-up in the original anime film project titled “Kuuchuu Kyoushuu Yourikukan Siva.”

The trailer also gives us a taste of fhána’s new theme song for Shirobako Movie, which is titled “Hoshi o Atsumete”.

Tsutomu Mizushima is returning from the TV anime to direct the film over at P.A. Works. Much of the staff from the TV anime also returns, along with the original cast, of course.

The film will continue where the TV anime left off, as it’s a direct sequel to the series. It’s set four years after the events of the TV series.
