The Pokemon Company and Google have teamed up to celebrate Pokemon Day on 27th February. And with that, they are setting up global elections for Pokemon of the Year. They will announce the results on Pokemon Day itself, which was the day that Pokemon Green and Red launched in Japan for the Game Boy a couple of decades ago.

To vote, one must just head over to Google.com and type in “Pokemon Vote” in the search engine. They can then vote for the Pokemon they like the most by selecting which region it’s originally from. However, you must be logged into a google account in order to vote!

Fans can vote once per day, so you can really vote for multiple Pokemon, or just concentrate all your votes on just one! According to Google, “votes will be stored until the vote ends and cannot be deleted. “

So what are you waiting for? Vote now!
