Were you a fan of Thermae Romae? Well, the critically-acclaimed manga’s creator, Mari Yamazaki, is back, and her other work, Olympia Kyklos, is also getting a TV anime! Weekly Shonen Jump magazine’s 11th issue made the announcement.

The announcement stated that the anime will premiere sometime in April 2020 via Tokyo MX. They also revealed that Ryou Fuji is directing the anime.

The announcement comes as Japan is in the midst of Olympic fever, hosting this year’s 2020 Summer Olympics. The anime itself is set the last time Japan hosted the games, which is the 1964 Tokyo Olympics.

It follows an ancient Greek king who suddenly gets transported into the future. In particular, he finds himself in the 1964 Tokyo Olympics!
