The recent outbreak of COVID-19 Coronavirus has forced many establishments in Japan to temporarily close their doors. One of them is the Ghibli Museum, which is now closed until 17th March. However, if you’re planning to go to the museum in April, it might not be a good thing either.

Museum staff have been planning to re-open ticket sales for April this week. However, their official website has announced they are now delaying these ticket sales until the museum re-opens. As for those who have already bought tickets, the website is now offering refunds. However, this is only for those who bought tickets until 30th March.

Among the other events and anime episodes either postponed or cancelled due to the outbreak include a Final Fantasy VII Remake event, Nippombashi Street Festa, AnimeJapan, the Seiyu Awards ceremony, and many more.
