Kaguya-sama: Love is War is returning for a second season, which means we will get more love warfare. And yes, most importantly, we’re also getting a whole new season of Chika! And now, the staff have revealed a new visual, as well as a new PV for the upcoming anime:
The staff also announced that Miyu Tomita is joining the cast as Miko Iino, while Rina Hidaka is joining as Kobachi Osaragi.
Director Mamoru Hatakeyama, script supervisor Yasuhiro Nakanishi, and character designer Yuuko Yahiro are all returning over at A-1 Pictures for this new season. The staff also confirmed that the cast is also coming back as well:
- Aoi Koga as Kaguya Shinomiya
- Makoto Furukawa as Miyuki Shirogane
- Konomi Kohara as Chika Fujiwara
- Ryouta Suzuki as Yuu Ishigami
As for the anime itself, the staff have also revealed that the anime will premiere on 11th April at 11:30 pm JST. Several TV stations, including Tokyo MX, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, and BS11 will be airing this new season.

Kaguya Shinomiya and Miyuki Shirogane are two geniuses who stand atop their prestigious academy’s student council, making them the elite among elite. But it’s lonely at the top and each has fallen for the other. There’s just one huge problem standing in the way of lovey-dovey bliss—they’re both too prideful to be the first to confess their romantic feelings and thus become the “loser” in the competition of love! And so begins their daily schemes to force the other to confess first!
