Yes folks, we’re getting a new Gundam anime from the Universal Century, and it will be focusing on Bright’s son, Hathaway Noa. And now, Gundam.info has revealed a new teaser visual featuring Hathaway, Amuro, and Char. It presents Hathaway as the “heir” to Char’s ideals and Amuro’s passion. It also states that the story will take place 32 years after Char’s Counterattack.

The new visual also announces the film’s 23rd July premiere date in Japan. It was supposed to happen in 24th March to announce more details about the film. Instead, staff and cast will be appearing during a livestream on the same date. It will be available via Twitter as well.

Shukou Murase is directing the anime, which will be based on Gundam creator Yoshiyuki Tomino’s Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash novel series. The novels follow the aftermatch of Char’s Counterattack, though it seems they are changing its story up to accomodate the newer UC series like Gundam Narrative and Unicorn.
