Nao Touyama has announced that she is launching a new charity project this year to support the Japanese Red Cross Society. She calls her new charity project as “Niji no Wakka,” or Rainbow Wings, and launched them on her birthday, 11th March. The day also serves as the 9th anniversary of the Great Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami which devastated Japan.

The project has now released “Niji no Wakka” mobile keep rings designed by the seiyuu herself. She is now selling them via her own official online store. Each one costs about 2,600 yen, and all proceeds will once again go to the Japanese Red Cross Society.

The seiyuu has been quite generous in her charity work, using her fame to help society. In fact, the Red Cross awarded her the Golden Achievement Award last year for her efforts.

Nao Touyama has voiced plenty of popular anime characters. This includes all four Kongou Sisters from KanColle, as well Nisekoi’s Chitoge Kirisaki.
