Shortly after releasing its latest key visual, Kyoto Animation has now released a new video for the upcoming Violet Evergarden: The Movie. The video is titled “Intermission.”

The film was supposed to premiere back in January. Unfortunately, they pushed it back for understandable reasons. Now, it will premiere this 24th April in Japan.

Kyoto Animation also released new details about the film’s story. According to the official website, the film will be centering more on Violet’s relationship with Gilbert, and how she refuses to believe that he is dead. And this happens as Violet gets a job from a boy named Julis.

Taichi Ishidate will be returning to direct the film over at Kyoto Animation. This will be the second Violet Evergarden film, following Violet Evergarden – Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll – spin-off. The spin-off anime film will be premiering on Netflix this 2nd April.
