Theme parks all over Japan are still closed as the nation is gripped with the Covid-19 pandemic. However, it seems that many of them, such as Universal Studios Japan, are looking ahead. The park itself remains closed to the public until 12th April. However, it seems that One Piece will be making its return to the theme park after all this is over. To be specific, the One Piece Premier Show and Sanji’s Pirate Restaurant are both returning for Universal Studios Japan’s One Piece Premiere Summer event.

USJ has tentatively scheduled the events to happen in summer 2020, from r3d July to 27th September. Unfortunately, the pandemic might also change these plans. The website did reveal that they will be releasing more information once they have decided on the schedule. For now, they will remain closed.

Tickets for the One Piece Premiere Show will cost 1,000 yen, in addition to the theme park’s normal ticket prices. It will be a live show happening in the park, featuring Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hat pirates. Meanwhile, Sanji’s restaurant will offer special One Piece-themed menu items for guests.
