Netflix has announced a 3rd July 2020 release date for Ju-On: Origins, the latest instalment in the popular (and terrifying) Ju-On franchise — spanning twelve Japanese films and four Hollywood adaptations. “Ju-On: Origins” is comprised of six episodes, to be streamed exclusively on the global VOD platform.

The new Japanese production will be directed by esteemed young Japanese film director Sho Miyake, on his first horror project. “Ju-On: Origins” focuses on the origins of the cursed house central to the Ju-On mythos. Not many people, including some professed die-hard fans, are aware that the house is real and that the events surrounding the curse were based on true-to-life events.

Don’t forget to check it out when it drops 3rd July on Netflix.
