Japan’s #1 boy band ARASHI will be releasing their 58th single “Kite” this 29th July. Written by Kenshi Yonezu, “Kite” is Japanese broadcaster NHK’s official Tokyo 2020 Olympics and Paralympics theme song. ARASHI premiered the song from the Tokyo National Stadium as part of the 70th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen last December 2019.

The track will be released as a regular CD, a CD and BD or DVD bundle which contains the official music video and BTS footage, and a special edition reserved only for members of the band’s official fan club.

The regular CD comes with a B-side “Journey to Harmony”, which ARASHI sang to celebrate the ascension of His Majesty Emperor Naruhito to the Chrysanthemum Throne. As for the cover art on all the different editions, they were personally painted by band leader Satoshi Ohno.
