The original theatrical feature-length animation “Kimi wa Kanata,” starring Honoka Matsumoto and Toshiki Seto, will be released in Japanese cinemas 27th November 2020. The official key visual and first film trailer have been released to accompany the announcement.

“Kimi wa Kanata” is set in Tokyo’s bustling Ikebukuro ward, an intersection of art, movies, anime, manga, and retro kitsch. Honoka Matsumoto’s character Mio and Toshiki Seto’s character Arat are childhood friends who grew up Ikebukuro, and Mio’s world is turned upside down due to a traffic accident.
