Via Comic Natalie: rookie artiste Takanori Nishikawa (AKA veteran singer T.M.Revolution) and GOLDENBOMBER vocalist Shou Kiryuin have joined forces for a new unit dubbed “Nishikawa-kun to KiriShou”, slated to sing the new opening theme song of the current season of “Pokemon“. This is the first time the two artistes have collaborated on a track.

The duo will cover After The Rain’s song “1, 2, 3” — which is the current opening theme of the series; “Pokemon” is spearheading a project where various singers will do their own versions of the song. The “Nishikawa-kun to KiriShou” arrangement will debut with the 9th August broadcast of the long-running TV anime adaptation of the popular game and multimedia franchise.
