“Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle- Rhyme Anima” — the TV anime adaptation of the hit multi-media franchise, has released a new series of videos called “HypAni Division Rap School”, to get new fans up to speed on rap culture. The first video features notable Japanese rapper Zeebra and voice actor Subaru Kimura, who plays Ichiro Yamada in the HypMic universe. Check it out!

“Hypnosis Microphone – Division Rap Battle –” is a hit media franchise also known as “HypMic” amongst fans. The story is set in a dystopian utopian future where women lead the government and men are merely grunts who follow orders. As guns and other weapons are no longer available, territorial fights must take the form of rap battles.

“Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle- Rhyme Anima” will be animated by A-1 Pictures and directed by Katsumi Ono, featuring character designs by Minako Shiba and series composition by Shin Yoshida.
